An order kiosk takes work off your staff at the counter. Customers choose at their own pace, in their own language, and pay straight away. You receive a paid order with an order number and can start preparing right away. The Instore Order Kiosk uses the same products as your digital menu boards, so you change a price in just one place.
How ordering works for your customer
- Tap to order. The welcome screen shows your own slides, such as a special offer or the dish of the day, with a start button and a language choice.
- Choose products. Per category the customer sees your products with photo and price. For a product they pick options, such as size or sauce, with an extra charge where needed.
- Check the order. In the basket the customer adjusts quantities and sees the total.
- Pay by phone. The kiosk shows a QR code. The customer scans it with their phone and pays online via Mollie.
- Get an order number. After payment the kiosk shows a large order number, which the customer uses to collect the order.
If a customer walks away halfway through, the kiosk returns to the welcome screen by itself after a while, ready for the next one.
Orders in your kitchen: the order board
Paid orders appear straight away on the order board in the dashboard, in three columns: New, In preparation and Ready. For each order you see the order number, the time, the products with chosen options and the total. One click moves an order to the next step. The board refreshes automatically and new orders are highlighted. Put the board on a tablet or PC in the kitchen and your team works with it all day.
Your assortment, managed in one place
The kiosk shows the products from the Assortment section of the dashboard. There you manage:
- Categories and products with photo, description, price and VAT rate per product.
- Product options, such as sauce, size or extras, with an extra charge and a rule for the number of choices (for example "choose 1" or "up to 2").
- Stock: when a product reaches 0, the kiosk shows it as sold out. Every paid order counts the stock down.
- Availability: a start date, an end date, weekdays or individual dates on which a product is not for sale.
Already have a product list? Import it in one go from Excel, CSV, JSON or XML. And because menu boards can use the same products, a price change is right straight away on the kiosk and on your menu boards.
Set what customers see per kiosk
With more than one kiosk, for example at the entrance and on the terrace, you choose per kiosk which categories and products are visible. You also set the languages per kiosk: switch languages on or off and choose the language the kiosk starts in. With only one language on, the language choice disappears completely.
In your house style
Pick a ready-made design, such as Light, Dark, Fast food, Café or Fresh, and adjust it with your own colours, font and logo. You decide how products are shown (grid, list or large cards) and how many products sit side by side. A live preview in the dashboard immediately shows what the kiosk looks like, with your own products.

What you need
- An Android tablet or Android touchscreen, for example in a stand or floor kiosk. Hardware is not included in the subscription.
- The Narrow.TV Kiosk app, which you pair with a code from the dashboard. Set up as a locked kiosk, customers cannot leave the app; staff exit with a PIN.
- A stable internet connection.

No, there is no integration with POS systems. Orders arrive on the order board in the Narrow.TV dashboard.
